With a delicate balance of acidity, a supple medium body, notes of sweet milk chocolate, hints of citrus and vanilla, as well as the subtle warmth of cinnamon and a faint floral undertone, this coffee takes you on a journey through the vibrant Oaxacan coffee-growing region.

Starting at sea level in the bustling Mexican beach town of Puerto Escondido, you will gradually ascend along winding roads, passing through traditional villages where locals still proudly wear their indigenous clothing. Eventually, you will arrive at a lush tropical forest, intermixed with coffee plants, bananas, corn, beans, and fruit trees, with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean in the distance.

This picturesque landscape is home to small family farms, each spanning just a few acres of land. In fact, nearly forty percent of the hardworking producers here are women, relying on the income from their coffee crops to support their families. Embracing their indigenous heritage, they use organic methods to cultivate their crops and preserve the precious environment.

Our go-to roaster for coffee shop

We stumbled across Dragon Fire by chance when a different roaster we were trying to visit was closed. One of the greatest finds! Dragon Fire has become our main coffee bean supplier for my coffee shop. Our go to's are the Black Dragon Blend for our espresso, and Breakfast Blend for pour-overs and cold brew!

Start with Fresh Beans

I love these coffees! I buy them fresh no more then a day or two after roasting “ it’s all about farm to table only this is roasting to coffee pot if you will. These coffees are just awesome. My favorite is the Costa Rica.

Thank you, my friend. I'm very happy that you are enjoying your coffee.
Please stop in soon for a chat (and bring that fancy car if it's nice out!)
