These El Jaguar coffee beans come from small producers in Siltepec in central Chiapas.
Chiapas is the southernmost state in Mexico. The local population of Siltepec depends on agriculture for its livelihood and coffee is at the heart of it. Siltepec’s coffee farms are enriched by the town’s proximity to the El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve.

I REALLY liked this bean ! I am probably in the minority, but I don't like the strong bitter dark roasts. I like trying all the different coffees, and this might be my favorite so far.
